So, I've seriously been waiting for something like Rooh.IT to come along for quite some time now due to the fact that I'm actively engaged with the online world. I mean... who isn't these days right? Literally everything is going virtual and the internet is now the primary resource for just about anything. I'm just starting to use E-textbooks because they're a lot cheaper and they save me the hassle of carrying around bulky books and I'm sure everyone else is finding this alternative to be more efficient. However, the thing that stopped me from buying E-textbooks a lot sooner was the fact that I thought it'd be hard to remember the main points of each chapter if I didn't re-write them, which in the end turns out to be pretty time consuming. Also, I am an avid highlighter/note-taker so I need to have a hands on experience while reading in order for me to really understand the material. Therefore when I heard about Rooh.IT, I immediately knew this was going to be an extremely beneficial tool. Rooh.IT allows you to highlight phrases you find interesting/important and automatically stores that data into your personal portfolio. I love the fact that you can go back to your portfolio and select "combine" to add all of your notes together under one relevant topic. This allows me to search multiple different websites for information and then combine all the data in the end without the hassle of having to bookmark each page separately or re-type everything in a word document. Rooh.IT also allows you to share your highlights with friends on facebook, twitter, blogspot, etc. which I thought was really cool! So say for example, you find a news article about an interesting murder case and you want to share it with all of your friends, but you don't want to waste their time by giving them the link to the 5 page article. You can simply use the Rooh.IT tool to highlight the main points and then share it online with your friends!
Another thing that I love about Rooh.IT is that it has really detailed storage features. What I mean by this is that you can easily track which highlights you want to keep to yourself, which highlights you want to share to the public, and which highlights you already sent to your friends. It keeps everything nice and organized for you so it won't get confusing later on down the road.
The thing I did find a bit tricky was actually bookmarking the site and getting easy access to the highlighter as opposed to just typing in Rooh.IT/ before everything. I think the Rooh.IT site tried to make it as easy and coherent as possible, but there was just too much information on the website for me to fully understand how to use it. The "add to favorites" section doesn't make sense in terms of my computer and so I couldn't properly download or add the tool.
Other than that, I think Rooh.IT is onto something really good! If you haven't checked out the website yet, please do at http://roohit.com/site/welcome.php

Rave Makeup
One of my subscribers asked me to do a rave makeup tutorial look so I came up with this :) I love going to raves and I love making my eyes stand out with blues :) I used my urban decay book of shadows 3 palette to create this look and as you can see, the colors come out extremely pigmented and nice. As a base I used a NYX jumbo pencil in milk as well as a blue rimmel jumbo pencil to make the color pop out a little more. Tutorial will be up soon after I finish editing it =) Stay tuned!

CVS 75% off Haul
Yay!!! Finally got to check out CVS!! If you guys didn't know already.. they're having like a 50%-75% off sale right now so go grab the deals while you can. Here's some of the things I picked up. Everything was around 2 bucks minus the mascara :) I was soooo excited.
I heard this mascara was good? Has anyone ever tried it before? It vibrates! This was actually on sale for 7.99 and it was originally 15.00. I dont know why it says 75% off :(
Has anyone ever tried the physicians formula palette? Here are some swatches:
So far it looks pretty good =) Let me know if you guys want reviews on any of these!

Diet Plan Update
For those of you who have been waiting for me to upload my DIET TIPS video, I'm so so so sorry! I've been really caught up with school recently since I had to skip a few days to go home, but I'll be sure to film the video tomorrow and have it up by this weekend. To give you guys a basic idea on how I lost weight I'll just briefly say that I've drastically changed my eating habits in order to lose the 15 pounds that I lost. I take pictures of all my food so here's a basic idea of what I tend to stick to when eating out. It's amazing how much I absolutely love salads/vegetables/fruits now and would probably prefer it over a tasty burger. I do count my calories (although I don't recommend it) which has helped me to eat in moderation.
My typically days consist of:
1. mornings: apple, high fiber cereal, & low-fat yogurt
2. lunch: either a lean cuisine, home-made sandwiches, subway, cup noodles ( i generally don't care about what I eat for lunch as long as it's not a big mac!)
3. snack after lunch: either wheat crackers, a handful of nuts, baked goldfish- anything small and tasty!
4. dinner: (typically my smallest meal of the day) either a salad, sandwich, chicken with brown rice, boiled eggs with shrimp.. (a lowfat meat such as chicken/shrimp with some type of carb)
5. after dinner snack: blueberries, grapes, or some type of fruit
I generally try not to eat after 7pm.
Hope this kind of gives you an idea of what to stick to... get rid of all those junk snacks such as chips/cookies/candy and replace them with fruits and vegetables! Or healthier alternatives that are natural such as nuts :) Also, get rid of sugary drinks such as fruit juice/soda/etc.. and replace it with WATER! water is seriously a very important factor to losing weight. I typically drink around 5-6 cups of water a day. Replace your fatty meats with fish/lean chicken/seafood.
Stay tuned for the video!!
Wet N' Wild Cosmetics
These are seriously my new favorite palettes! It's actually kind of scary how pigmented they are and how much product you get from just one swipe. These retail for around $4.99 at drugstores, but I heard they went for around $2.49 at walgreens! Too bad all of the walgreens I went to sold out of these palettes :( But I'm in loveeee with wet'n'wild cosmetics at the moment just because they're so affordable and the quality of the products are excellent! Let me know if you'd like a review on the concealer/palette/blush or any of their other products.
Blush: $2.99
Concealer: $2.99
Palettes: $4.99

I seriously think I'm the best bargain finder :) Purple top was $10 from love culture, dress was $15 from active, red top was $10 from active, black top was $15 from metro park, hat was $4 from h&m :) All of these are name brand clothing articles too ^_^ yay for deals/sales!!
remember him from my "mini valentines day haul + meet my boyfriend" video?? spent the whole weekend with this dude :) my bestest friend knows how to make me feel better after a junk weekend.

another new years eve look
So this is the other new years eve look I created. I used my love&beauty 32 color palette for this and I'm really pleased with the outcome. So far I like the palette although you could probably get it for cheaper off eyeslipsface.com or even Ross! But anyways, stay tuned for a review on the love&beauty cosmetics.
